Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless is getting an enhanced cross-platform re-release later this year in Japan. Addressed Disgaea 7: Koremade no Zenbu Iri Hajimemashita, which will likely be translated as Disgaea 7 Complete, the latest re-release of the Disgaea game will launch on Switch on July 25, 2024 in Japan. A western release date has yet to be announced (thanks Gematsu!).

Disgaea 7 Complete is a bundle version of the original strategy RPG, which was released on Switch in January 2023 in Japan, and in October of the same year in the West. Not only that, Complete will also add some brand new story and gameplay elements.

The new story content is called “The World Savers Squad” and will feature popular characters from across the strategy RPG series. You’ll need to beat the main story before you’ll be able to tackle this extra chapter, but once you’ve completed it, you’ll have a new playable character in Asaga.

In terms of new elements, Disgaea 7 Complete adds Hell Inheritance, which allows for more character development and freedom. Rakshasa Baal is also being added to the game — Baal is a superboss that keeps popping up in games and brings an incredibly tough challenge to the table (just, uh, look at the screenshot below and see that stat… yikes).

But wait, what if you already bought Disgaea 7 on Switch? Fortunately, the new story and game content will be available for purchase separately from the base game. Phew. And if you are a fan of strategic RPGs, you too I am not picked up Disgaea 7 why not check out our review dood?
