It was only a matter of time before more information about this new line of Intel processors was leaked. The latest leak corresponds to the Core Ultra 5 234V, information that was found in Intel’s firmware checks and which shows very interesting details such as, for example, its name: Ultra 200 core

Concerning the graphics card, this processor uses a iGPU of Intel with architecture Battlemage Xe2-LPG. Regarding the NPU (Neural Processing Unit) for artificial intelligence tasks, at the moment the performance is unknown, but according to this leak it will be up to 3 times more powerful than the one currently found in the Meteor family Lake, a graphics model that has 8 Xe cores with 64 execution units.
Samsung pulls out all the stops
A few days ago, thanks to SiSoftware Sandra, we learned how Samsung will be one of the first manufacturers to bet on this new Intel processor, as it has been doing since its entry into the compact laptop market with the Galaxy Book range which arrived on the market in 2021.
However, according to the information displayed on this equipment used to perform the performance test, the clock frequency differs slightly, since it is between 1.6 and 2.8 GHz. What they agree on is that the graphic will be a Battlemage Xe2 -LPG.
Samsung does not want to limit its range of laptops Galaxy Ultra Book Yes Galaxy Pro Book to the new Intel processors since it has also been confirmed that it will be one of the first manufacturers to implement the processor Snapdragon X Elite from Qualcomm, a processor with ARM Architecture which, according to the various tests published by the company, will be much more efficient with consumption reduced by half, at least compared to Intel’s Meteor Lake range.
The Snapdragon 12 heartsincludes an integrated Adreno graphics whose details are unknown, has an NPU for artificial intelligence tasks and the clock speed varies between 3.8 GHz base and 4.3 GHz. The performance of Intel’s Lunar Lake processors, a priori and in the absence of real performance comparisons, they continue to be behind this new Qualcomm processor.
