Microsoft and Xbox CVP Kareem Choudhry are now going their separate ways after 26 years of working together, according to a new report.
How Windows Central According to sources familiar with Microsoft’s internal operations, Xbox CVP Kareem Choudhry is leaving the company amicably and with immediate effect after 26 years.
Choudhry was one of the better-known names at Xbox and was a major contributor to gaming innovation through his work on the Xbox Backwards Compatibility program, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and Microsoft’s AI efforts, among others.
According to the report, Choudhry’s departure is not related to the current management restructuring, which is intended to streamline processes and accelerate growth plans for Xbox Game Pass, Xbox hardware and beyond.
