Even though spring is slowly picking up speed outside, some people want you again this week exciting new releases on Steam glued to the screen. This week, building game enthusiasts in particular have two good reasons to spend time comfortably in front of the PC without missing the fresh spring air.
The highlights of the week
Rimworld: Anomaly
Genre: Building game | developer: Ludeon Studios | Release: 11. April (Steam)
The acclaimed colony simulation Rimworld is getting its next big DLC - and this time it’s really scary, because the new add-on is inspired by horror films and the Cthulhu mythos.
A dark obelisk appears in your game world. As soon as you interact with him, you awaken a nightmarish deity from his sleep and have to face a wide range of horror scenarios.
You can capture and explore the monsters, such as zombies or giant flesh creatures, allowing you to perform dark rituals and possibly use the evil deity’s powers for your own purposes.
Infection Free Zone

Infection Free Zone is among the 20 most wanted Steam titles, now there is a first release
In the build-up game Infection Free Zone The world was plunged into chaos after a zombie virus turned much of humanity into highly aggressive monsters. Your goal is to research a cure for this virus.
What’s special about it: At the start of the game, you can choose any location in the world that becomes an infection-free zone and where you build your base. The game uses data from OpenStreetMap, so you can even turn your own house into a fortress.
Shops, pharmacies and more from the real world should also be depicted in the game, so that the supermarket around the corner also appears in the game and you can have your exploration teams look for food there.
