World War Z is a zombie game that leads us to a peculiar universe that is decimated by a deadly plague. This time, the zombies are very fast and move in huge hordes that will make it very difficult for us to survive. The title approach is of games with several players who must cooperate (or if you play alone, you are alone with companions controlled by the AI) if they want to get out alive. Since its launch in spring 2019, World War Z has been receiving free and paid downloadable content.
As advertised in the official Focus Home forums, today comes the update that allows the crossplay between Xbox and PC in World War Z, which means that Xbox One and PC players can collaborate to destroy enemies. This update should have appeared earlier, but different circumstances delayed its release.
According to the PS4 developers themselves, it will arrive later in this shared environment. A new quest objective has also been added. In each mission, a virus sample container will spawn in multiple locations, which the player must loot and bring to the end of the mission. They can also be looted from a Bomber if removed correctly. The longer you keep the virus sample, the more negative effects it will have on you, so hurry up.
Horde Z Mode has received a number of balance adjustments based on community feedback. More xp and coin rewards, fewer special zombies in normal mode, and a long list of additional changes visible below.
Go into Horde Z, Quest, or Multiplayer mode and enjoy five new weapon variants with their unique perks, such as incendiary explosives from the Thumper grenade launcher or automatic pistol. Also, the paid DLC War heroes pack It is already available to buy at a price of € 9.99.
This pack brings four unflappable heroes in the war against the Zetas. These unique outfits will transform characters into deadly warriors. Tatsuo boasts his samurai ancestry with a modern twist. Arnetta is wrapped in leather and enters biker mode. Oksana is equipped to be the fastest assistant on the battlefield. And Alahey changes his usual weaponry for something with more class.
Then we leave you with the patch notes, which tell what it is that this new update of the game brings, available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, although with CrossPlay only between PC and the Microsoft console.

World War Z surprised everyone when it positioned itself as one of the great non-AAA releases of early last 2019. His bet was reminiscent of Left 4 Dead, with an addictive and worked gameplay, as well as a very careful progression system. The fact of being able to play it alone or with friends gave a plus to a most interesting game. Later, from Saber Interactive, its creators, the extra content model was defined, which involved both paid and free DLC.
Finally and if the game catches your attention enough, we remind you that World War Z is available for free on Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft's game-on-demand service that contains a good arsenal of the most striking titles in all possible scopes.
