As the 2024 Masters approaches, fans around the world are gearing up to watch their favorite golfers compete for the coveted green jacket.
This is the first time we’ve seen all the top men’s players go head-to-head, as rivals from the PGA and LIV tours unite.
Whether you are a seasoned golf enthusiast or a casual spectator, here’s how you can follow the days of the 2024 Masters live, wherever you are.
When will the 2024 Masters take place?
The main tournament takes place between Thursday, 11th of April And Sunday April 14. All selected players will play all four days, completing 72 holes.
The full list of tee times is not yet announced, but will be available before the start of the tournament.
How to watch the 2024 Masters in the UK
Sky Sports has exclusive live rights to the 2024 Masters in the UK and will broadcast all four days as they happen.
You have a few options when it comes to Sky Sports. The first is to get a TV package, which starts at £46 per month (£26 per month for the Entertainment plan, £20 for the Sky Sports add-on) for 18 months.
If you don’t mind paying a monthly subscription for your TV, Sky Glass is also worth considering. You can currently get a 43-inch TV (48 month contract) with Sky Sports, Sky Entertainment and Netflix (standard with adverts) on an 18 month contract for £62 per month with £10 advance.
Alternatively, you can add the feature to your existing TV via Sky Stream. It starts at £43 per month for an 18-month package including Sky Entertainment, Netflix and Sky Sports.
All of the above includes access on your phone, tablet and/or laptop via Sky Go.
This doesn’t apply to Sky’s Now streaming service, but it’s a more affordable option. A Now Sports subscription (including all 11 Sky Sports channels) costs £34.99 per month at full price, but currently costs £26.99 per month for six months.
This includes a month of Now Boost, which adds 1080p video (instead of the usual 720p), removes ads, and lets you stream on up to three devices at the same time (instead of the usual). After a free month trial, it costs an additional £6 per month.
How to watch the 2024 Masters in the United States
In the United States, ESPN and CBS share the rights to The Masters in the United States. ESPN will broadcast the first and second rounds, with 4.5 hours of coverage each day. CBS will then air the final two rounds this weekend.
If you don’t want to sign up for a cable subscription, alternatives are available. An ESPN+ subscription will allow you to watch the first two days live.
Paying $10.99 for a month of access makes more sense, but $109.99 gets you access to the channel for a full year. ESPN+ is also the place to watch many American football, hockey, golf and basketball games, as well as several major European soccer leagues.
You can sign up now via the ESPN website.
For CBS, the best alternative to a cable subscription is Paramount+. Simply sign up for the Paramount+ streaming service (starting at $5.99 per month) and you’ll have full access on all your devices.
How to watch The Masters 2024 outside the UK and US
Before you try to watch UK or US TV from abroad, it’s worth checking which broadcaster has the rights to The Masters where you are. It will be easier than signing up and using a VPN.
But if you’re just visiting another country, it makes sense to access your UK or US subscription, which requires a VPN. We’re using NordVPN for the purposes of this tutorial, but there are plenty of great alternatives in our best VPN chart.
