However, those who dare to go on a single-player excursion will mostly draw a positive conclusion. This also applies to our tester Christian Schwarz, who describes Outcast: A New Beginning as a good sequel to a classic, but still criticizes that some of the virtues of its predecessor are neglected.

Inkbound may look playful, but it’s a tough tactical game
Bright colors and imaginative designs can be used Inkbound belie the hard core. Because behind the colorful facade, which is visually reminiscent of League of Legends, there is a tactically demanding, turn-based strategy game in the guise of a roguelike.
You put together powerful builds and smash your way through ever-stronger hordes of monsters, either as lone wolves or cooperatively with friends and strangers. If you die, you start over from the beginning, but you can keep your overall progress – typical roguelike. And you’ll die a lot, that’s pretty sure.
Known? One of the most unusual roguelikes ever is called Balatro and would be a great poker simulator if cheating was allowed in poker.
Spirit City: Lofi Sessions

Spirit City: Lofi Sessions is now converting the successful principle into a Steam game. In addition to the music, you can design the calming, charming environment according to your preferences. You also collect cute ghosts.
And productivity tools like alarm clocks and checklists help you stay focused. A game for the background alongside homework, the dissertation or for working in the home office.

Crime Scene Cleaner turns you into a crime scene cleaner for bloody crooks
We pet the dog in the video above – that’s in Crime Scene Cleaner just a part-time job. Mainly you’re cleaning up after the local mafia and that’s a dirty job. You remove corpses, traces of blood, etc. from crime scenes before the police arrive and can collect evidence.
You can already try out the game as a demo version on Steam – the developers call it Prologue. And this generates an extremely positive response with 96 percent positive reviews. The full version is scheduled to appear in the second quarter of 2024.
