There have been many rumors regarding the plot of the third Sonic the Hedgehog movie. For example, there have been some rumors that Hayden Christensen will be joining the cast to play Shadow the Hedgehog in the film. Those rumors have since been called into question, but it opened the way for ano ther rumor to appear.
Film industry insider John Campea recently did a video podcast episode. There, he explained that “someone who most people can recognize” told him at the CinemaCon party that Shadow the Hedgehog would be voiced by Keanu Reeves. He said the news is “100% locked in” and that major film journalism publications, such as Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, will report on it very soon.
