Animal Crossing: New Horizons players' comments on Metacritic are rather negative.
On Metacritic, users are reviewing the bombing Animal Crossing: New Horizons Calculated by assigning the game to our zero number.
About three-quarters, but most of the negative comments on both pages are zero (thanks, Nintendo Life).
Of course, there were 415 positive user reviews, but negative reviews accounted for more than half of the 231 submitted reviews.
The main complaint is that the game allows only one island per Switch console. When the game was originally released, it was revealed that there could only be one island per account, but Nintendo updated the availability terms to stipulate only one island per Switch console.
Other complaints have focused on multiplayer games. According to users, the second player cannot surpass the player who created the island in the game. This means that the second player cannot donate to the museum, place a building or get better tools until the main player does so.
If you click on the Metacritic link, you can read the main complaints of the game, but the point is still that people are frustrated that only one island per game console is allowed, and cooperation depends on one's progress.
Comments on the game received positive reviews, and Alex called it "another Nintendo's must-play Switch classic game" with a perfect score.
