The Fallout TV series on Amazon Prime Video was definitely a hit. Now the provider has officially stated what the situation is for a second season.
Last week the long wait was over and Amazon released the long-awaited series adaptation of the post-apocalyptic game franchise Fallout on Prime Video. This was convincing, has received excellent reviews so far and is not only enjoying greater popularity among video gamers.
Even before the release of the first season, there were growing signs that there would also be a Season 2 of Fallout on Prime Video. A significant loan from taxpayers’ money was guaranteed for the production, which would hardly have existed if the plans for the sequel had not already been quite concrete. However, there was no absolute certainty to date!
That has now changed, because Amazon has now officially announced a second season of Fallout. Just a week after the premiere of Season 1, it is now clear that things will definitely continue. Season 2 is now officially released and will definitely appear on the streaming service.
“We don’t want to put you through a long torture, do we? We’ll see you again in the Wasteland for Season 2,” it says on various Amazon social media channels.
And the executive producers Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan also appeared in a statement via Variety euphoric: “Big shout out to our incredibly brilliant showrunners Geneva and Graham, to our amazing cast, to Todd and James and all the legends at Bethesda – and to Jen, Vernon and the amazing team at Amazon for their incredible support of this show. We can do it can’t wait to blow up the world again.”
Further details about season 2 are still pending. This also affects a potential start of filming and a release period. We will of course keep you up to date on this!
