if you are worried Star Blade It…well, certain tendencies will be censored in some way, but you don’t need to.
Stellar Blade is a hot topic right now, mostly because its protagonist looks to be wearing the tightest clothes ever, showing off certain circular areas that are clearly designed to make players horny. You might be wondering, then, whether games will be subject to some level of censorship, reducing those industry staple dithering physics to appease region-specific ratings boards and the like. However, a recent tweet from the official Stellar Blade Twitter account suggests that the gameplay will be the same no matter where you play it.

A tweet from the account read: “Stella Blade is available in the same uncensored version in all countries, including the Japanese version.” The sentence was also written in Japanese. Ironically, this is paired with a censored image of the game, which shows a heavily pixelated scene with a large red cross on top and text that reads “Uncen sored for All Nations.” I think, for potential Starblade fans, this is a real win.

Unsurprisingly, the action game has also been compared to Square Enix and Yoko Taro’s 2017 game Nier: Automata. Taro even shared his thoughts on Stellar Blade in a recent interview with creative director Hyung-Tae Kim and IGN, saying: “Stellar Blade is a really great game. I would say it’s better than Stellar Blade. NieR: Automata is much better…the graphics are completely next-gen quality and the character design direction is amazing, Mr. Jin’s unique style of cool male characters and cute female characters are very attractive, and the shops in the RPG often have shopkeepers I didn’t like the close-up shot, because I thought Star Blade had that, but the owner is so cute that I don’t mind her cuteness more than any design choice.”
Our own Sherif recently tried out Stellar Blade in the game’s latest demo and tried to figure out why it feels so different from Sekiro, even though it borrows a lot from it.
