The new title update added many choice personalization for our avatars. What you need to keep in mind is that in the “Appearance” tab we can now also change our hairstyle, face shape, eyes and body type. As well as other minor customization options.

Hair Options
- Short – 5 possibilities
- AVERAGE – 5 possibilities
- Largo – 2 possibilities
The “Face” or face tab
In the appearance menu we have this new option that can be described as one of the most complex to manage. In fact, we have at our disposal a total of 7 different shapes that will also allow us to change the eyes, eyelashes and other minor aspects of our avatar. We can also change the shape of the eyebrows, which will have a great impact on the overall appearance of our face.
At the bottom of this section we can also change the color of our skin.
Body
This is where most of the criticism regarding the change to the avatar system lies. We now have a total of 10 different body options to customize our avatar in Pokémon GO. Clothing restrictions have been removed, giving greater freedom to customize our main character.
We have several aspects what to modify:
- Weight
- Muscle
- Shoulders
- Bust
We are facing a deeper personalization system and with more options, even though fans aren’t entirely happy with the shape of most bodies. What do you think?
- You will need to go to Pokémon GO to your avatar icon on the right side of the screen below.
- Once done, navigate to the “Style” tab.
- After that, select the “appearance” option. Once this is done, you will have to choose from the options the ones you prefer, although if you want to change gender, change “Body”. And select the favorite.
