The mass layoffs at Microsoft apparently also include the closure of the Bethesda branch in France.
Microsoft has apparently closed Bethesda’s branch in France after twelve years. The first people reported the loss of their jobs via social media.
A community manager wrote: “I have dedicated 8 years of my life to Bethesda France. 8 years of wonderful encounters, memories that I will never forget and unique opportunities. A page that turns and hurts a lot of people.”
According to the community manager, it is part of Microsoft’s mass layoffs, in which 1,900 jobs will be eliminated.
The closure of Bethesda in France means 15 people will lose their jobs. The branch’s tasks mainly consisted of publishing and marketing.
