A while ago it was confirmed that the game includes new features regarding the previous version, and then the press after testing it confirmed some more. We are talking about the remake of Paper Mario: The Millennial Door for Nintendo Switch.
Its debut is scheduled for May 23, 2024. For this reason, the press has already been able to prove it and now they have found a curious detail in some dialogues. In the original GameCube version, there is a segment where a group of Goombas insult Goombella, Mario’s companion.
However, in the 2024 Switch remake, Nintendo has decided to completely rewrite this scene

Goomba : Hey! Hey man! What’s happening? Who is the hottie you have there with you?
Paragoomba : What happen dear? Why don’t you stay with us for a while? We played very well!

Goombella : Oh, it’s SO sweet that you guys think I’m beautiful! Oh really! Yeah, guys like you make me feel like… VOMIT! Now get out of our way!

Paragoomba : What, you’re too good for us? Come on, sister!
Spike Goomba : Nobody messes with us like that! Nobody! Let’s go get them!
NOW (remake):
Goomba : Hey! Hey man! What’s happening? Do you think it’s okay to enter OUR territory?
Paragoomba : Typical! You superficial snobs are very conceited. ‘OoOoh, I can see the sun! I like to breathe clean air! Oooh!’
Spike Goomba : Heh! Yeah! Come here, scruffy man with a mustache… Let’s teach you some proper manners…
Goombella : Leave him alone! Can’t two academics and a world-famous hero wander the sewers of a port city in peace? If this is your usual greeting to visitors, then you must have learned it down here… because it stinks!
Goomba : Oh! how cold you are!
Paragoomba : What, you’re too good at fighting?! If you don’t intend to fight, then don’t go near the sewer!
Spike Goomba : Nobody is spared from a fight with us! Nobody! Let’s go get them!
