Call of Duty fans have reason to be happy: As part of the Season 3 Reload, there will soon be new game content – both in Modern Warfare III and in Warzone.
Activision has now announced the official details for Season 3: Reloaded in the current shooters Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone. So you can pull out your calendars and mark May 1, 2024 in red next week – then the big mid-season update should start in both titles and give you new content.
As you are used to from previous Reloaded updates in an ongoing season, new game modes, weapons, equipment and maps await you this time too. In the classic multiplayer mode, Modern Warfare III, for example, has two new game modes in the playlists Minefield and Escort. In Minefield mode, you leave a proximity mine on the battlefield when you die. Escort, on the other hand, tasks you with protecting a MAW while you hack three different points on the map.
In addition to these two modes, there are two new 6v6 maps to explore in multiplayer that enrich the rotation: Grime and Checkpoint. Grime is a medium-sized map set in a deserted corner of London. Checkpoint is also considered a medium-sized map that is based on the Stronghold from Rebirth Island.
On the weapons front, there’s the new BAL-27 Assault Rifle, which offers you fast reload times and a unique firing mechanism; The first four shots have increased accuracy, then the gun switches to a higher rate of fire to finally eliminate your target.
In Warzone you can expect the Specialist Perk Package; If you activate this, you should benefit from all available perks.
