Knuckle just arrived Paramount streaming services paramount plus this week, but it looks like you’ll be able to buy it on DVD and Blu-ray.
To say “Knuckles” is a good show would probably be a lie. It’s got the same merit as the original 1993 Super Mario Bros. movie, which wasn’t good at all, but you can’t help but be impressed with every equally baffling creative choice that follows, even if it’s nowhere near the same as it was. What it should actually be. However, if you don’t subscribe to Paramount Plus, you won’t be able to experience this content for yourself. Most streaming services don’t typically release their shows and movies in physical form, but as Wario64 shared in a recent promotional post , Knuckles appears to be getting a rare release in DVD and Blu-ray treatments, steelbooks, and more Streaming.

The series is available for pre-order on Amazon and Walmart, but no date has been set yet. It also doesn’t appear to be available for pre-order only in the UK, so only the US seems to have a confirmed physical release at the moment. Sega and Paramount haven’t actually officially announced the news yet, so it’s unclear exactly what’s going on.

Dom had the opportunity to watch the first four episodes of the show and described it as a fever dream, which is certainly an accurate statement, for better or worse. I’ve now seen it myself, and despite being a fan of the first two films, the feeling I left with Knuckles was one of pure confusion, disappointment, and trepidation for the upcoming third film. At the very least, it clearly borrows a lot from Sonic Adventure 2, and Keanu Reeves has reportedly been cast as the ultimate being, Shadow the Hedgehog, so how bad could it be?
