In our daily lives, we carry out many actions together, and many more individually. Likewise, there are devices that are used with other people and others that are used more privately. The mobile phone can be used both ways, to teach someone something, watch a video together, or privately, to do some tasks that we don’t want anyone to see.
The problem is that to perform many of these tasks you must have applications installed, and these applications may not be accessible to everyone who picks up the cell phone, if we put a PIN on it, but their mere existence can be a problem.
This is why brands like Samsung have decided to give their users the possibility of hide app shortcut in your phones app drawer. This doesn’t uninstall the app or hide it from the Apps section in Settings, but it does remove it from the most obvious search box.
How to hide apps
To be able to hide the applications you just need to open the app drawer, by clicking the corresponding button or swiping up on the screen, depending on how to control the active screen. Then you have to Click the three-dot icon in the upper right corner.
Among the two options that appear, you must choose the one called Settings, which will provide access to an area where personalize this app drawer, with functions such as number of rows and columns, making new applications install an icon on desktops, etc.

One of these options is called Hide apps on home and app screens. If enabled, it hides the icon of a specific app both in the app drawer and on the desktop, if it is also present. To select an app or game, simply click on that option and search for the app to hide. When found, select it and click the Done button. The app will disappear from both sites. To get it back, you can do the same step and remove it from the hidden apps list.
Finally, note that it is possible to open an application with it hidden. To do this, we navigate to the Settings from the mobile, then to Applications, and over there search app. Once located, click on it and the settings tab of this application appears, from where we can open it by clicking on the icon in the lower left corner.
