Tennis game fans have been waiting like the messiah for Top Spin 2K25. Overall, their wishes were fulfilled, at least in terms of solid gameplay. However, there are several sticking points surrounding Hangar 13 and the new game from 2K Games. Unfortunately, the publisher has accustomed us to a rather predatory economic model that we find here. However, what particularly upsets players is the already announced end date for this game, even though it has only just been released.
We can actually see an information notice in particular on the page of PlayStation Store dedicated to Top Spin 2K25. It says: “ Please note that the game’s online features will be available until December 31, 2026. However, we reserve the right to change or terminate the online features beforehand and without notice.
Armed with this information, players are eligible to purchase the game. Without saying so, 2K Games is therefore suggesting that Top Spin 2K25 with annual or semi-annual releases should take priority over other sports games under its watch. An economic model that has not always been received positively and that fans of tennis games hoped not to see on their favorite license and that, despite all the odds, has revived…
