According to the latest rumors, The Coalition’s Gears of War 6 won’t be revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase.
As soon as Microsoft officially confirmed the Xbox Games Showcase for 2024, the rumor mill was already buzzing.
The Verge’s Tom Warren has revealed that The Coalition will be at the event and not just showcasing Gears of War 6. The Coalition should therefore have a second game in their luggage. It is currently unknown whether this is a Gears of War part or a completely new game.
Gears heads are already speculating about a possible “Gears of War Collection” or a “Gears of War: Marcus Fenix Collection”.
As with all rumors, the motto is: Don’t get excited too soon! Nevertheless, a double announcement would not be so unlikely, as one has already been announced in a double pack: Gears of War Ultimate Edition & Gears of War 4 in 2015; Gears Pop, Gears Tactics & Gears 5 in 2018.
Furthermore, the Gears of War TV series and the live-action film are still on the horizon.
