Bluey fans can rejoice as an episode of the hit children’s series banned from Disney+ is now available to stream for free.
The episode in question is called “Dad Baby” and is now available on the official Bluey channel on YouTube, which means you can finally watch the full episode.
Find out what we know so far about Blue Season 4.
Why was the episode banned?
While Disney+ has done a great job bringing Bluey to viewers around the world, it’s no secret that the streaming service has been cautious about content.
It’s a kids’ show after all, but Disney has arguably gone too far on that front.
“Dad Baby” was not part of the UK and US rollout and is still nowhere to be found on the platform, even if you know of its existence.
It appears that Disney considers the episode’s content unsuitable for younger viewers, with the storyline revolving around Bandit pretending to be pregnant with Bingo (she is in a baby carrier attached to her father) and featuring a childbirth in water in the paddling pool in Heeler’s garden.
This may be the only entirely banned episode of Bluey on Disney+ in the West, but the streaming service has also edited out some jokes that it doesn’t like either, including changing “unicorn poop” to “slug” in the episode Trains.
In it, Bluey asks Bandit to lick her imaginary train ticket, which she reveals to be poop in the original version, as well as rub it on her face.
Where can I stream Baby Daddy?
While this and other politically correct style corrections will remain on Disney+, you can watch “Dad Baby” on YouTube in all its glory right now. Appreciate.
