This morning we learned more details about the cryptic message that leaker Pyoro published yesterday. After the user posted an image of an NES cartridge, now Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition has been rated for Nintendo Switch by the ESRB.
It is believed that it will be a collection of classic 2D games that evoke the golden era of Nintendo
And the leaker Pyoro has shared a brief message clarifying it. Make it clear that “it’s not a free game”, so you will have to pay for it. We don’t know if it will be part of Nintendo Switch Online or if it will be released independently.

Remember that the collection was originally launched in 1990 during the Nintendo World Championshipand was a special Nintendo Entertainment System cartridge that contained three custom mini-games based on the popular Super Mario Bros., Rad Racer, and Tetris titles.
The goal was to get the highest score based on a custom cumulative scoring formula across all games. All within a total time limit of 6 minutes and 21 seconds.
