It turns out Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Will include a PvP mode that has not yet been officially confirmed.
It’s been over a decade since Warhammer 40,000: Space Marines launched, but Saber Interactive’s sequel is set to launch later this year. Dom got to play the game himself at last year’s Gamescom and loved it, even saying it was probably the best game at their show. Like many games these days, it appears there will be an online mode, although this has yet to be confirmed. Earlier this week, YouTuber prdalien0 took a look at the art and making of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marines 2, an art book originally intended to ship with the game’s Collector’s Edition, which, unsurprisingly, revealed a few things about the game Spoilers for.

I won’t spoil any of the story for you here, and you can watch the full video yourself if you want to know more, but the most important thing confirmed by the book is that it will have a PvP mode. Apparently, the mode will be “limited to” Marines vs. Marines, and the artbook also confirms what different classes will be available within it. There also appears to be banner and clan customization, as well as a hub area where you can select missions and upgrade your Space Marines.
On top of that, you’ll also find details about vehicles, weapons, enemies, and interactive objects in the base game, so be careful if you want to avoid spoilers. After all, the game isn’t actually launching until September of this year, so there’s still several months before people can fully try it out for themselves. We’re also lucky that the game is coming soon, as Saber Interactive managed to save itself from Embracer by buying it back in March.
