performance-wise, Hades 2 flies on the Steam Deck. You benefit from a generous battery life of three to four hours, depending on the age of your deck’s battery, at a constant frame rate. Here’s how to do it Hades 2 Enhance your experience on Steam Deck.
Activate the rear access buttons
The Steam Deck has four convenient buttons on the back, although not all games have them enabled by default. While playing Hades 2press the Steam button and go to Hades II > Controller Settings > Controller Settings. After power on, the rear grip buttons default to the four face buttons: L4: Y button, L5: X button, R4: B button, R5: A button. This arrangement should work well for most players, but you may want to customize it further (you can change which buttons they are assigned to in the Quick Settings section).
The rear grip buttons are particularly useful for sprinting, as they allow you to zoom around the map while holding your thumb over the four face buttons.
Consider disabling the trackpads
The Steam Deck has two trackpads located directly below the analog sticks. These are very cool input devices that can be assigned various functions. But if you just want a simple, controller-like experience Hades 2 (or any other game), you may want to disable them as they are easy to accidentally touch with your palms when holding the Steam Deck, resulting in accidental key/button inputs.
