We are very pleased to announce this Duck Detective: The Secret Salami coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and the Windows Store! “Duck Detective” is Aggretsuko and “Return of the Obra Dinn” in a cozy mystery setting where an unfortunate duck is tasked with uncovering a sinister sausage-based conspiracy.
You play as Eugene McQuacklin, part-time private investigator, full-time duck. As a newly divorced ex-police officer, you must use your superior deduction skills to save your ailing career and maybe, just maybe, pay next month’s rent.
Our small team at Happy Broccoli Games has been heavily inspired by Agatha Christie’s classic novels. Even though they take a darker and more suspenseful approach, we wanted to create something that will keep you guessing as much as it will make you smile. Our team had a lot of fun writing such an energetic and strange story. A pompous detective, mismatched characters and a cramped environment – it all adds up to a lot of fun!
Justice is a dish best served at the bottom of a pond. And when it comes to The Secret Salami case, you’re guaranteed to get your fins wet.
