Netflix and Roblox is launching a “digital theme park” called “Nextworld” featuring characters and content from “Stranger Things,” “One Piece,” “Cobra Kai” and “Rebel Moon.”
“Once you enter Nextworld, the central hub of the Netflix universe, you can dive deeper into your favorite series and movies,” Netflix said.
“Think of it as a digital theme park filled with characters, Easter eggs, and immersive games like Stranger Things: Escape from Hawkins High, One Piece: East Blue Brawl, and Rebel Moon: Suburban War , these games will connect you with your favorite characters in a whole new way.
“While you’re there, say hello to Dustin from Stranger Things, Luffy from One Piece, and Jimmy from Rebel Moon as they become the guardians of their respective worlds. Some may even guide you through your quest, and you never know who you might meet. ”
The 3D interactive space in Nextworld will allow you to play mini-games based on Netflix titles, and you can also head to the “Streamship” in Roblox to participate in online events, such as the Jurassic World: Chaos Theory preview on May 17.
Nextworld also allows you to collect items from various shows and movies for your private Fan Pod, which you can allow friends to view if you wish. Plus, as you accumulate more currency in Nextworld’s challenges, you can use it to expand your Pod and add more exclusive items, such as free limited user-generated content like the Demogorgon plush head or the One Piece flag.
Nextworld is now available in Early Access via Roblox.
