According to reports, the Horizon license is preparing a big surprise for us and the reveal is even imminent!
Aloy has been on hiatus since Horizon Forbidden West and its Burning Shores DLC. The Nora is not yet at the end of its surprises, at least the Horizon license is obviously not yet at the end of its surprises. We know that games based around the franchise are currently in development, but of course something else could be coming soon.
Will the Horizon license return soon?
For several days now, several insiders and very informed people have been discussing the Horizon franchise. It seems that a major collaboration between the Guerrilla License and brick giant LEGO will soon see the light of day. An announcement should be made very soon. This information comes from two regulars of this type of information, the very informed Tom Henderson and the slightly less well known but obviously reliable Kurakasis.
It was the latter who ignited the powder by announcing a close collaboration between LEGO and a very large license from Sony. The insider isn’t telling us anything else at this point. He simply claims to be checking his sources for more details. This is where Tom Henderson comes into play. Very often very well informed, this came not only to confirm that something was afoot, but as a bonus that it would be Horizon. To which Kurakasis replied yes.
A surprise seems to be on the horizon, a revelation soon?
We don’t know what it really is yet. Is this a new LEGO game with Horizon sauce? This would actually be a first. Or is it a new collaboration for LEGO collectible sets? Given the success of its predecessor, that wouldn’t be a surprise. Anyway, it’s coming soon and according to information from Tom Henderson, there’s even a trailer ready to ship.
If this is indeed the case, we can imagine it airing in the coming weeks. Why not at the next PlayStation Showcase? Although it hasn’t been officially announced yet, it has attracted a lot of attention recently. So we’ll have to wait a little longer, but it could well be that the Horizon franchise is preparing a nice surprise for us.
