After almost two years of silence, the one we all called Assassin’s Creed Red until a few hours ago is ready to make the presentations.
The Assassin’s Creed license still has a bright future ahead of it. There are officially at least four games in development: Red, set in Japan, Hexe during the witch hunt and Jade, the mobile episode set in China, or even Invictus, the multi-oriented production. Behind the scenes, Ubisoft will be betting hard on its flagship license while a number of other games are in development, including a remake for the popular Assassin’s Creed Black Flag and a rework of an old, still-secret work (you said Ezio?) . Before communicating about its future plans, Ubisoft is launching the advertising machine for Assassin’s Creed Red, or the episode that many people have been waiting for for years.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is ready to amaze you
It was a long-awaited game and the patience of the franchise’s historic fans will eventually pay off. In September 2022, Ubisoft announced a certain Assassin’s Creed Red with great fanfare. An open-world game based on the formula initiated by Origins and set in the era that many players have wanted for years: feudal Japan. Since then there has been radio silence. At least officially. Tom Henderson’s indiscretions have in fact made it possible to gather some details about one of the most anticipated episodes. The game would put us in the shoes of the two characters Naoe and Yasuke, a shinobi and an African samurai. Assassin’s Creed Red leaks suggest a title that will place more emphasis on infiltration and further push AC Valhalla’s custom camp functionality.
However, you don’t have to wait long for something concrete. On the sidelines of the Summer Game Fest and its Ubisoft Forward, the publisher is finally starting the advertising machine around the game. So stop calling it Red and call it Assassin’s Creed Shadows. A name that seems to fit perfectly if we rely on recent leaks. Before Ubisoft finds out what the episode has in store in Japan, it wants to make the mouths of those who have been waiting so valiantly water. The famous CGI trailer is therefore revealed here May 15, 2024 at 6 p.m
Assassin’s Creed Shadows gameplay is therefore expected to be shown during Ubisoft Forward, which will take place on June 10, 2024. To make it easier for them to wait, a countdown will be set up on social networks. The most motivated are then invited to solve the hourglass puzzle and those who succeed are rewarded. How ? See you in a few days to find out.
