The heroic group Vox Machina will roll initiative again in the fall.
The fantasy series The Legend of Vox Machina is unique in its creation and that’s why it’s incredibly well done. The series is based entirely on the real role-playing round of the Twitch phenomenon Critical Role and was primarily created at the role-playing table.
Fans of Critical Role have long been hoping to relive the beloved story about Keyleth, Percy, Pike, Scanlan, Grog, Vex and Vax at some point and this wish came true at the beginning of 2022, with the second season following a year later. It was also already known that a third season was coming, but it has been a long time coming.
In one Interview with the Washington Post But it has now finally been revealed that Season 3 can be expected this year. The season is scheduled to appear on Amazon Prime in the fall.

Who is the series suitable for?
At first glance, The Legend of Vox Machina is a fairly typical cartoon that was noticeably inspired by the television program on a Saturday morning in the 90s. Up to the pronounced catchy Serien-Intro.
However, the series is clearly aimed at an adult audience. There is a lot of swearing here and the fantasy series hardly holds back when it comes to sexuality or violence. At the same time, the show brilliantly conveys its pen & paper origins and repeatedly incorporates various elements from Dungeons & Dragons.
The heart of the matter remains the story surrounding the eponymous group of heroes. All characters are voiced by their real players and the love for the original is noticeable at every corner. The result is one of the most entertaining and emotional fantasy series you can currently find – as long as the somewhat infantile humor here and there doesn’t put you off completely.
This is what awaits you in Season 3
Even though the series has of course been adapted to the new format and details in the plot have changed as a result, the story largely follows the events from the pen & paper template. If you haven’t seen the game round or the first two seasons, you should catch up on this first before you continue reading.
In Season 3, the group continues their fight against the Chroma Conclave, made up of five evil dragons. Last season saw this group take control of the continent while the heroes searched for artifacts to stop them. Ultimately they even managed to defeat the black dragon Umbrasyl.
In the next season, the search for the relics of divergence continues, while an alliance with the dragon Raishan is on the horizon and other enemies such as the ambitious Dr. Ripley spinning her threads in the background.
