Feudal Japan has been one of the most desired settings for the assassin saga since its inception and it finally came true. Ubisoft officially revealed Assassin’s Creed Shadows with a look at its world, the protagonists – the shinobi Naoe and the samurai Yasuke – and the announcement of its release date.
Let’s start by watching the cinematic trailer of the game subtitled in Spanish.
Now let’s learn more about this new title.
What is the release date of Assassin’s Creed Shadows
?
Ubisoft officially announced that this game will go on sale on Friday, November 15, 2024. It will be available for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. You can now pre-order through the Ubisoft store and will cost 279,900 Colombian pesos.
It will also be available for Luna, Amazon’s video game streaming service.
In what time and place does the game take place?
This title takes us to the Sengoku period and the Azuchi-Momoyama period, at the end of the war of states for the unification of Japan in the 16th century.
Who are the protagonists?
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will have a couple of protagonists with different abilities in the style of Syndicate. They are the shinobi Naoe and the samurai Yasuke. You can learn more about them in the following video, although Spanish subtitles are not yet available.
Naoe will be a character in the style of the Assassin’s Creed classics, focused on stealth and assassination from the shadows. For his part, Yasuke —inspired by the historical figure of the same name— will be a character focused on combat and direct confrontations.
We hope to learn more about this title in the coming months. We haven’t seen any gameplay yet, but we were already promised a trailer revealing how it plays in June.
