Elden Ring: All Key Imbued Sword Locations

Elden, Imbued, key, locations, Ring, Sword

Imbued Sword Keys are a key item in Elden Ring, used to activate the three gates of the four belfries (slightly confusing name). These are a special version of the classic Stonesword Keys, which open secret passages throughout the world of Elden Ring when you insert them into imp statues.

Imbued Sword Keys serve a similar function, as you will need to find and use them to break the seal on a number of important doors located at the Four Belfries. Once these doors are unsealed, you will be able to teleport to different regions and locations around the map. So keep reading below to find out where to find the three imbued sword keysand where each Waygate will take you.

Where to find Imbued Sword Keys in Elden Ring

1. The four belfries

Found in the fourth belfry (the one at the top of the hill), there is a chest at the very top of the tower. The key is inside.

2. Raya Lucaria Academy

Found on the rooftops of Raya Lucaria Academy, past the section known as the Debating Room (where you must fight the Red Wolf of Radagon). After beating this boss, head to the courtyard, go up the stairs and jump over the railing to the rooftops. Follow the path and you can collect it from a corpse on the east side of the area.

3. Sellia, city of witchcraft

Sellia is a town you’ll find in the Caelid region of Elden Ring, and the Imbued Sword Key can be found in a small building in the northeastern part of the town. You will need to deactivate the barrier blocking your path, and you can do this by climbing the three towers in the city and lighting the braziers you find there.

Although they are called The Four Belfries, only three of them contain Waygates. As mentioned above, the only thing you’ll find in the Belfry at the top of the hill is one of the Imbued Sword Keys. This means you can activate a Waygate immediately, of course, but first you’ll want to know where the other Waygates in the Belfry will take you.

If we start at the bottom of the hill – the lowest belfry on your left – this belfry goes to Farum Azula crumbled. This is an endgame zone, so be prepared!

Next, you will see two belfries side by side in the central part of the hill. The middle left belfry goes to Nokron, Eternal Citywhile the one on the right goes to Chapel of Anticipation.

Nokron’s gateway will only give you access to a small part of the Eternal City. To see the entire area, you will need to defeat Starscourge Radahn at Redmane Castle and access Nokron via a hole in the basement left by a meteor impact. You can find all the details in our walkthrough of Nokron, Eternal City.

Door of the Chapel of Anticipation, meanwhile, allows you to challenge The Grafted Scion again, so you can obtain the Ornamental Straight Sword and Golden Beast Crest Shield. You will also need to go there as part of the Varre quest.

It doesn’t matter which imbued sword key you use on which passage door. They can all be activated at any time, with any imbued sword key you have in your possession.
