Can I watch Fury vs. Usyk for free?
Although we didn’t find a completely free route, Yahoo discovered a very cheap one and we tested it successfully.
Ukrainian streaming site Megagogo (Usyk’s home country) is including the fight in its streaming plans. There are a few tiers available, but each offers seven days for just 99 UAH. This works out to £1.99/$2.53.
Note that the comments will almost certainly be in Ukrainian, so make sure you’re happy with that before using this method.
To access this site, you’ll need a way to bypass geo-restrictions – which is why we recommend using a VPN (virtual private network). This software allows you to access sites that may be geoblocked in your country.
The best one we’ve used is NordVPN, which offers a wide range of servers (including one in Ukraine), competitive prices, and a user-friendly interface. You can find more options in our list of the best VPNs for streaming.
Once connected to a VPN and a Ukrainian server, go to the Megagogo website. We did this on an Android phone, but it should also work on a desktop web browser or iPhone/iPad. The text on the screen is in Ukrainian, but we used Google Translate by clicking on the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen.
You will first need to create a free account. We managed to do this by connecting a Facebook account – just click the button at the bottom rather than trying to sign up using a phone number.

Once done, you will be redirected to the Megagago homepage. Click on the battle banner (on the home page) and click “watch”. It will provide you with a list of subscription options.
We chose the Maximum option, but in theory any of these plans should work – they all cost the same for seven days: 99 UAH. Then select your subscription duration (7 days).
You will then be prompted to enter your card details. We did this without issue and were then able to stream content to the plan.

The video settings offer the option of English audio in some videos, but we doubt this will be the case for the live fight. You may be able to get English subtitles.
Once the event is over, you can avoid being charged more by clicking on the “subscription management” tab in settings and following the numerous prompts until it confirms that your plan will end in seven days.

Note that this method is against Megagogo’s terms of service, and while we were able to subscribe to a plan before the fight, we have not tested it for a live event. Proceed at your own risk.
