Well, just as it’s releasing its first big patch (which tweaks mechanics like sprinting and resource gathering), Supergiant creative director Greg Kasavin has provided some information on where the game is heading. Apparently, there are some “clues” as to what the developers may have prepared for future updates.

Speaking to PC Gamer, Kasavin said the team will shift focus to Hades 2’s first major update, after the recent patch marked the beginning of a number of “relatively small patches.”
While he wouldn’t reveal the central theme of the update — which “will include new features, locations, enemies, and other content” — he did say the following: “If you play the game deep enough, you’ll find things to look for. clues”. Still, Kasavin added that the studio expects Hades 2 to be available in early access “at least before the end of the year.”
