The long wait for an Assassin’s Creed in Japan will soon be over.
The now 14th main part of Assassin’s Creed finally takes players to feudal Japan. Netflix anime fans are looking forward to Yasuke – the historical figure represents one of two playable characters in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Furiosa has been announced for years, and now it will finally be released in Europe cinemas on May 22, 2024. The prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road revolves around a young Imperator Furiosa who doesn’t let any warlord spit in her gas soup.
Why did it take so long? Scheduling problems for those responsible. And as the saying goes: good things take time. This saying could actually apply to Furiosa if we are to believe initial reviews:

So here it happens: Assassin’s Creed Shadows takes us to ancient Japan, when honorable samurai and nimble shinobi roamed the island and anime was still a thing of the future. As early as 2022, GameStar users voted Japan the second most desired AC setting, only beaten by the domestic country.
