WB Games’ crossover platform fighter appeared in open beta in 2022, and the plan at the time seemed to be a smooth transition to a full release. Instead, the game was temporarily suspended despite running multiple battle passes and requiring real money for skins and other cosmetics. So when it comes to rewards previously earned in Open Beta Battle Passes, as well as purchased characters, skins, and other cosmetics, the answer is yes. You’ll have all your stuff. The exception is perks, as that system is being overhauled, but there was no real money involved there. A new currency called Prestige was announced, which is earned by acquiring cosmetics and leads to more specialized cosmetics. Returning players from the Open Beta will receive a portion of the Prestige currency up front based on their ongoing unlock collection.

What about gold?

Gold, which was previously the only in-game currency (aside from Gleamium, the real-money currency), will be completely removed. Unspent gold will be converted into “commemorative cosmetics,” which are exclusive and will not otherwise be available, according to PFG. It is currently unclear whether these gold bonuses will contribute to prestige.

Will character and Battle Pass tokens carry over?

Yes! Like Gold (and unlike Gleamium), the tokens offered in the Founder’s Pack are not part of MultiVersus when 1.0 launches. However, any tokens that players did not redeem before the end of the Open Beta will still be usable, so if you have saved your character tokens or have not yet received Battle Passes, you will still be able to do so in 1.0.
