A patch with initial bug fixes for XDefiant will be rolled out on Saturday.
Ubisoft San Francisco will roll out the first patch after the start of the pre-season of XDefiant on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. You can already take a look at the patch notes.
Among other things, the developer fixes a bug where players saw hit markers on the opponent, but a full health bar was displayed.
Players should no longer spawn out of world in a hellscape in the practice zone after the patch.
Please note that once the patch is available, the servers will be unavailable for one hour.
Further details can be found in the patch notes.
Preseason Patch Notes
Game modes
- Sometimes players loaded into the practice zone would appear out of world, in a hellscape, and now that’s (probably) no longer the case.
Devices
- Fixed an issue where if the player died during the device deployment animation, the next deployed device would fall at their feet instead of being thrown as intended.
Netcode
- The issue where you were getting hit markers for an enemy when they killed you, but their health bar still appeared full? The health bar display was wrong – you dealt damage to them. Should be fixed now.
Localization
- Fixed an issue where the end-game UI text in Arabic was displayed in the wrong orientation.
various
- We’ve turned the practice zone back on, but weird things can still happen.
- Fixed an issue that caused low frame rates on some AMD GPUs.
