This new Pikmin controller for Nintendo Switch is not convincing

Controller, convincing, Nintendo, Pikmin, Switch

You may remember that Hyperkin has launched three new Bluetooth controllers for Nintendo Switch. Recently we also learned about another PDP controller inspired by Peach and now, after knowing the recent and most accessible controller for the console, we have another available that does not seem to have convinced those who have tried it.

Its about PDP ‘Pikmin Clover Patch’ from the REALMz range, which is really nice but has not convinced. From Nintendo Lifethey alert us to the following:

Aspect Pros Contras
Features – Battery life of 40 hours. – No motion controls. – No HD vibration. – No NFC support.
Design – Attractive Pikmin design with three-level details and translucent casing. – Collectible Pikmin figure on the handle. – Lightweight construction that feels fragile. – Clicky front buttons and gripless joysticks.
Variety – Offers additional designs featuring Sonic the Hedgehog and Transformers. – Pikmin exclusively wireless variant, the other options have a wired version.
Gaming experience – Programmable LED lights with four different configurations. – Lack of features compared to Nintendo’s Pro Controller, making the gaming experience limited.
Precio – Slightly cheaper alternative to the Nintendo Pro Controller. – Only £15/$10 cheaper than the Pro Controller, which doesn’t justify the lack of features.
Use – Ideal for collectors or as a secondary control for a younger brother. – +/- and Home/Screenshot buttons swapped, causing confusion when using.
Comfort – Lightweight design, which can be comfortable for shorter gaming sessions. – Not ideal for long gaming sessions due to lack of grip on the joysticks and fragile feel of the controller.
Verdict – Good addition to a Pikmin collection, especially with its attractive design and LED lights. – Not recommended for players looking for a complete and functional gaming experience due to the lack of essential features and less robust construction.
