The month of June already promises to be full of surprises for Xbox Game Pass subscribers in this season of summer announcements. While we wait to find out what Microsoft has in store for us, here are all the games confirmed for next month.
Microsoft’s speech next month is particularly anticipated. The publisher will shed light on its next upcoming in-house games, including Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle, Avowed and of course Call of Duty Black Ops 6, which was recently officially released. Titles such as State of Decay 3, Microsoft Flight Simulator 24 or even a new Doom would also be included according to early rumors. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will then be able to discover a series of new productions that will undoubtedly appear as soon as they are released in the catalog. And as we know Microsoft, they are not finished with their surprises yet, with immediate availability expected on the big night. Meanwhile, we already know some new Xbox Game Pass additions from June 2024.
Games confirmed for Xbox Game Pass in June 2024
The Xbox Game Pass catalog is growing day by day. Every week the subscription service releases its small new features, both important and more modest. When it is not giving pride of place to the independent scene, it is where the biggest exclusives of the Xbox Series take place, such as Hellblade 2. The upcoming games will therefore be in the spotlight on June 9 and the conference could have some surprises in store for subscribers. It is indeed not uncommon for Microsoft and its partners to announce some surprising releases on this occasion.
You must therefore expect these famous shadow drops. While we wait for the official announcement of the first wave of expansions for Xbox Game Pass in June 2024, we already know that this month will be marked by the arrival of three games, two of which will be available at launch. Here are the only games currently confirmed:
- Fireworks (PC only – June 4).
- Rolling Hills (Console, PC and Cloud) – June 4
- Still Wakes the Deep (Console, PC and Cloud) – June 18
Still Wakes the Deep, the big new addition to Xbox Game Pass
We kick off the ball with the one that won’t arrive first, but will undoubtedly be the most interesting of the three: the new baby from the creators of Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture and Dear Esther. A horror first-person game set in 1975, when disaster strikes an oil rig off the coast of Scotland. It’s up to you to save your crew from otherworldly horrors that defy your reality and all logic. There’s something new to discover once it’s released on Xbox Game Pass on June 18.
Fireworks, a very popular game
Independent game that combines horror and mystery and has been excellently received by the public. This new Xbox Game Pass feature has received more than 35,000 extremely positive reviews on Steam since its release in 2021. An accidental fire will lead the police to re-investigate the closed case of a massacre. The little blue one that you are will happen to participate in this new investigation that quickly becomes confusing.
Rolling Hills, a new leisurely excursion
Second day of release on Xbox Game Pass in June 2024. In this game at the intersection of life simulation and restaurant management, you take on the role of a little robot chef serving sushi to the residents of a friendly village. It’s up to you to run your small local business while perfecting your art and improving the daily lives of your neighbors.
