What is a reciprocal tide bond in Wuthering Waves?
The Reciprocal Tides Voucher is a currency that you can use to get 5 stars of your choice for free on the Beginner’s Choice banner in Wuthering Waves. There’s no dreaded 50/50 chance of losing your selected character this time around, as you’re 100% guaranteed to instantly receive whatever 5-star you choose.
While that seems rather generous for a gacha game, it might make more sense to know that it was only designed to make up for Wuthering Waves’ many launch issues.
How to get a Reciprocal Tides Voucher in Wuthering Waves
To get the Reciprocal Tides Voucher in Wuthering Waves, simply log into the game before May 22, 2025 and reach Union Level 8 or unlock the Summon (Banner) menu after completing the trial in “First Resonance” to instantly receive your voucher via the in-game messaging system. Click the “Claim” button on the mail containing the item attached to obtain your reciprocal tide voucher.
There may be a slight delay in receiving your mail with the attached Reciprocal Tides voucher, so please be patient until it arrives. If you still haven’t received your voucher after 10 minutes, try restarting the game. If you still don’t get your Reciprocal Tides voucher after waiting another 10 minutes after restarting Wuthering Waves, you will need to then contact Kuro Games customer service at [email protected].
How to use the Reciprocal Tides Voucher in Wuthering Waves
Here is how to use the reciprocal tide voucher in Wuthering Waves:
- Redeem your Reciprocal Tides Voucher from in-game mail.
- Select the Beginner’s Choice banner from the “Summon” menu.
- Use the “Summon x1” button at the bottom of the banner.
- Select the 5-star character you want to obtain and select “Confirm”.
- Use the “Summon x1” button at the bottom of the banner again to instantly obtain the 5-star character of your choice.
Don’t panic if you accidentally choose the wrong 5-star at the start, because you can click the symbol next to the “Summon Beginner’s Choice” text at the top to swap the selected character before using your reciprocal tide voucher.
