The announcement of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown was made several years ago and although a specific release date was never established, everything seems to indicate that we would receive news about it sometime this week.
In a series of promotional emails, the development team confirmed that the title has reached a new phase which would be announced with great fanfare very soon. The body of the email includes a countdownA which still has two days left at the time of writing this note, i.e. for May 30 We should have news by now.
A test drive that seems close to hitting the mark
The news also talks about five missions that will begin today, but it’s unclear exactly what these missions will be or if they will have any effect on the game when it releases.

Back in March, we got to see some details of the game with a trailer showing some instances off road from the title and the truth is that it looked very good. Although the delays suffered by development may have worked against the title, the truth is that the return of the Test Drive franchise is something awaited by many players who have been able to enjoy the IP over several generations. Let’s just hope they’re not disappointed.
