The first DLC for Alan Wake 2 could be revealed at the Summer Game Fest next week.
Alan Wake 2 has been available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S for several months. Developer Remedy announced before the release last October that they were planning two expansions for the survival horror title.
Now there are increasing indications that the Finnish studio will soon announce further news about the first DLC. The developer has simply changed the name and profile picture of its own account on the short message service X.
Instead of the Remedy logo, the words “Poison Pill Entertainment” appear here. In another post, the additional text “Since 1995 Night Springs City” can be read.
Remedy announced some time ago that the first additional content will be called Night Springs. This is a direct reference to Alan Wake 2.
Shortly thereafter, Geoff Keighley, host of the Summer Game Fest, shared the image on X. The producer’s reaction suggests an announcement at the showcase on June 7th.
It is already known that Night Springs will feature several playable characters. The expansion will focus on the show of the same name, which was already featured in the main game. The second DLC will be called The Lake House.
