Silent Hill 2 remake studio Bloober Team faces an unexpected and not very pleasant event for one of its unannounced future games.
Bloober Team is one of the independent horror studios of recent years. It is far from the best, but the structure has earned a place for itself with several projects such as The Medium or Blair Witch. After managing to get their hands on the universe of one of the most profitable films of all time, which was a real phenomenon, the teams are tackling the Silent Hill 2 remake, which will be released in the fall. On the other hand, another game has just gone bad.
A big problem for a game from the studio Silent Hill 2 Remake
This time, everyone can mark October 8, 2024 on a calendar for the release of Silent Hill 2 Remake. A re-reading that has left some very worried, while others, on the contrary, are happy with the extracts revealed so far. The verdict will be given at the start of the school year, but in the meantime Bloober Team has other things to work on. The studio also has two projects, provisionally named “Project R” and “Project C”, which are respectively a game under a Skybound Entertainment license and a survival horror in collaboration with Private Division, as well as Take-Two Interactive. You can forget about that.
Private Division has decided to terminate its contract with the Silent Hill 2 Remake studio. A brutal but legal decision, as it included a termination clause without justification. “The contract was signed in September 2021, with the publisher having the option to terminate the contract without giving any reason”
Suddenly, the Silent Hill 2 Remake studio has lost distribution of its next game. Is it dead? NO. Bloober Team could try to convince a third-party company or publish it directly under its name. The reason for this cancellation is not given, but it is not the first time Take-Two has done this in recent months.
