As you all know, everyone is dealing with it coronavirus At this time and for this reason and to prevent its spread, both governments and the health authorities of the countries are making a series of recommendations and obligations to reduce it as much as possible. One of them is to temporarily close all non-essential stores in countries, which excludes food stores, pharmacies and basic services such as gas stations and service stations. Another very important aspect is the quarantine imposed by many countries, including Spain, where it is recommended as much as possible to stay home in order to avoid both contagion and spread to others and thus help not to spread the virus further.
Obviously this involves certain inconveniences, such as sedentary lifestyle produced by quarantine, which means that many people who used to go out to exercise or to the gym have seen their daily routine altered.
For this reason, the World Health Organization (WHO) has listed "active" video games as a way to stay healthy. This organization has turned to social networks to share a list of physical activities that can be done at home, to help us stay active without having to go outdoors.
These are the details they have shared:
- Activities include online exercise classes, dancing to music, using a jump rope, doing muscle strength and balance training, and the aforementioned "active" video games.
- Titles like the recent one Ring Fit Adventure Nintendo's are naturally ideal for this, although that particular game has been hard to come by recently. As VGC has discovered, some third-party vendors are using distributors like Amazon to sell the game at higher prices as demand for the title increases.
- The WHO recommends that «all healthy adults do 30 minutes a day of physical activity, and children should be physically active for 1 hour a day«.
What do you think of his recommendations?
