This summer, Nintendo is bringing smiles to cities across the country with Mario, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong, Pikachu and more with Play Nintendo Tour. From June 13 to September 2Nintendo invites kids and their parents to explore the endless adventure and fun of Nintendo and Nintendo Switch system at various points across the country. The national tour is free to attend and features exciting interactive experiences that include photo ops with Nintendo characters, giveaways (while supplies last) and playable demos of the latest Nintendo Switch games.
The Play Nintendo Tour has something for everyone – whether it’s discovering a new favorite character, enjoying a family activity, or just showing off your Mario Kart 8 Deluxe skills! Similar to Play Nintendo The Play Nintendo Tour is also a destination for families, packed with fun activities, friendly Nintendo characters, puzzles, quizzes, videos and more.
What else can young fans expect from this interactive experience? Opportunities to explore the fun and magic of Nintendo’s worlds and characters – here are just a few examples of what awaits you:
- Are you afraid of ghosts? Cheer up like Luigi for a scarily appropriate photo from Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD game, launching on June 27.
- Walk the red carpet, pose for a show-stopping photo op and take the stage as Peach to save Sparkle Theater with a demonstration Princess Peach: It’s time! game. During her theatrical adventure, she will transform into a range of exciting characters, from Swordfighter Peach to Patissiere Peach – play and discover your favourite!
- Share the miracle with friends and family in The miracle of Super Mario Bros game demo! Experience classic Mario gameplay transformed by the magic of Wonder Flowers. Play as Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Toads, Toadette, Yoshi and Nabbit and discover your new favorite power-ups!
- Rev up your motorbikes with Mario and friends for all the thrilling high-speed tracks that can be found in both Mario Kart 8 Deluxegame and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Extra Course Pass DLC.
- Pose for a photo with Pikachu and learn about the powerful and playful Pokémon that can be encountered in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokemon purple games.

Parents can join their children in the many themed parties and activities for the whole family at the event, including personality quizzes, jumbo puzzles with Mario and friends, matching memory games and the chance to try your hand at the claw machine to catch fun objects, to name a few just some. The tour even has a special area where attendees can learn more about the Nintendo Switch system and find some recommended games based on their family’s favorite characters.
Guests will receive a free Play Nintendo Tour Passport where they can collect stickers after participating in various activities at the event. With a completed passport they will receive free Nintendo goodies such as Play Nintendo wristbands, coloring pages and even a free Nintendo Switch Online
