Unlike inkjet printers, laser printers use toners instead of cartridges. Inside toner there is actually no ink, but a meal contains unique objects such as thermoplastic resins and iron oxide. However, changing a toner is almost as easy as changing ink boxes, since the only way it has one extract one and replace the other. Let's see it.
How to change printer toner
The first step you must do is to prepare a new tone that you should have purchased earlier, specific to your printer model. Take it out of its packaging carefully, too remove all signs.
Remove the marks in the new toner
Most print tones, or non-original ones, have plastic strands to be removed before installation, and are often worn in color to attract attention (for example, when the toner is black, they tend to oranges
In the image above you can see that these complementary toners have two characteristics: one is on the bottom, has an orange plate, and the other is a sensor, also orange and shaped like a ring. Pull gently but boldly to remove them.
Release the old tone
Once we are ready for the new tone, we have to remove the old and worn (talking about the phone, but the process is the same for every tone you have on your printer. If it is black and white there will be one tone, but if so) the color will be four in all, black, red, yellow and blue).
It does not matter if the printer is off or on in this step.
To do this, the first thing you must do open the toner compartment printer. How to do this depends on the product and model, but usually it is done simply by opening the lid, which can only be opened to drag it or press the release button.
For most home printers, by toner we can remove it, but there are other advanced models (especially for many printers) toner held in fuser. In this case, you will see that there is a tab, in blue or light, that we would have to work to get out the tone not just the tone but the fuser.
You can see this tab in the image below, located on the left side of the tone.
Once we get rid of the old toner, it's important to use this new pack to keep it inside. Do it carefully to keep it out of the dust, or to remove as little dust as possible. It is not toxic, but it is better to prevent it than to cure it, and thus avoid hygiene afterwards.
You should take this old tone and its placement into pure point re-treatment. Do not dispose of ordinary garbage.
Replace new tone
Now that we have an old print and new tone ready, we just replace it with the same old one had. Note that all printers have railings on the sides where toner is applied, and the tone has lines or travel cycles along these lines.
It should be fine, just put the rail and it should fit neatly and effortlessly. If not, you may forget to remove one of the symptoms.
When the toner is already installed on the printer, close the lid and you are ready to go. As soon as you close the cover, you will, of course, see that the printer starts working (if you didn't turn it off) and to check yourself to make sure everything is OK.
