Fortunately, Google has released not one but two updates that seek to fix all the problems of this function.
And just two weeks ago, Google released Android 15 beta 2.1, a version with which it sought to fix Private Space bugs. However, it seems that the issues have persisted, which is why the company has released a new minor but important update: Android 15 beta 2.2 arrives to fix private space bugs
Android 15 Beta 2.2 is now available for all compatible Google Pixels
It is worth remembering that these types of problems are common in beta versions of Android, as in any other operating system, since the beta versions are not intended only as a preview of the new features that will arrive in the final version of ‘a major update of. the operating system, but also for Find and fix system problems.
In this case, operational problems were observed and reported in the Private Space in the Android 15 beta when starting a private space on a mobile for the first time, app icons have been removed from the home screen
This is a problem that Google wanted to correct with the update to Android 15 beta 2.1, but it seems that they did not succeed and it persisted, since the company released a new update. In addition to the problem with private space, The new version of Android 15 beta fixes the following issues:
- Fixed remaining issues where creating a Private Space for the first time would remove app icons from the Home screen
- Fixed an issue with Wallet that blocked NFC payments from working in some cases
- A problem is solved by which the app drawer won’t open sliding up
- Fixed an issue with NFC Observation Mode that prevented messages from being processed. NFC payments in some cases
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused videos recorded with 10-bit HDR had a green tone
- Fixed several other issues affecting stability and connectivity of the system
The new Android 15 beta 2.2 version is around 55 MB in size, and is now available for download via OTA for all compatible Google Pixel device users:
