Thanks to hands-on reports, there is new information about summons, weapons and weapon arts from the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion to Elden Ring.
In the upcoming Elden Ring expansion Shadow of the Erdtree, players will travel to the Shadowland. A new story with new dungeons, enemy types and bosses awaits them in the new area.
But the expansion also offers numerous new ways to survive in the fight against bloodthirsty enemies. Some of these have now been revealed through hands-on reports from IGN and XboxWire revealed.
Players will be able to rely on the support of the following three new summons in battles: Commander of the Black Knights Andreas, Gravebird and Fingercrawler.
New weapons include the heavy Smithscript axe, which can be thrown, a backhand blade that can be split into two blades if necessary, and the greatsword Milday.
While the Backhand Blade weapon art performs a charge attack with a paralyzing stab to the ribs, the Greatsword lets players perform various additional attacks such as Forward Stab.
The Oathseeker Knight’s armor also offers new protective gear for players, which, according to Xbox Wire, offers good protection for its weight.
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will be released on June 21st for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
