At Ubisoft Forward 2024, the new part of the Anno construction series was announced: It is titled Anno 117: Pax Romana.

Not much more has been revealed yet. Anno 117: Pax Romana takes place during the time of the Roman Empire, in an era in which the Gallic War is long over and a time of peace and cultural exchange between the provinces prevails.

For the first time in Anno history, you can choose your starting area and thus your faction: either you start in the Celtic plains of Albion (then England) or Latium, the center of Italy with its capital Rome.

Anno 117: Pax Romana is scheduled to be released next year in 2025 for PC and the PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles.

Images from the game have not yet been shown, but some initial artwork has been released that gives an impression of the historical era:

Aside from this scant information – scenes from the game have not yet been shown – the new Anno was unveiled with a self-ironic live-action trailer, which you can watch as a substitute in the absence of gameplay:

The next Anno takes you to the year 117 AD. As governor, you manage, expand and trade to make the provinces of Latium and Albion rich and powerful.
