Note to science fiction fans: A phenomenon saga is coming back to Netflix very soon, we finally have the date! But will the public be there?
Netflix is increasingly focusing on productions that want to compete with blockbusters on the big screen. We have seen projects multiply that compete in special effects or high-end casting. Recently a new saga appeared on the platform that offers the services of a renowned director, who will soon return with two new films that will finally find a release window. Get ready, the summer will be busy.
Two Netflix boxes will soon be redesigned
Science fiction fans will be delighted! The Phenomenon Saga Rebel Moon will soon return with what its director does best: the Director’s Cut. In fact, Zack Snyderto whom we owe in particular the re-release of Justice League in the extended version, has worked on a re-edit of the two works available on Netflix.

We will therefore find Rebel Moon Chapter 1: Chalice of Blood and Rebel Moon Chapter 2: Curse of Forgiveness in less than two months.
However, it is good to remember that despite the popular success, the two works are (very) far from seducing the audience. However, this does not prevent Netflix from thinking long-term with this franchise born from the idea of the director himself and the screenwriter Kurt Johnstad. The fate of these reinterpretations could therefore be decisive for possible sequels.
The re-release of Rebel Moon in the form of a director’s cut is an opportunity to delve deeper into the universe of the mother world. Certainly these new versions will be richer in content, but will they be more convincing? Zack Snyder should delve deeper into the themes of the first films and give more nuance to the executions.
