A few weeks ago, during a special broadcast, we found out about some of the new features that would come to this title to celebrate its eight years. Finally the time came. The Twisted Masquerade 2024 event has already started and we are going to present the news, surprises and rewards that we can get in celebration of the anniversary of Dead By Daylight.
Let’s start, as is tradition, by watching the event trailer.
The protagonist of the Masquerade is neither a survivor nor a murderer. She is Tryks, a mysterious being who seems to be at the service of the Entity.
When does the event start and what date does it end?
The Twisted Masquerade Dead By Daylight begins on Thursday, June 13 and will extend until Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 10:00 am (Colombia, Peru and Ecuador time).
Tryks Invitations and Tricks
In all games of Dead by Daylight during the event We will find Tryks invitations on pillars located randomly on each map. Collecting one will allow us to spend it at any time to obtain one of the following advantages:
Survivor
- Blocks a murderer’s window jump for a few seconds
- Makes a pallet appear to block an Assassin
- Activates silent mode, which reduces the sounds of footprints, breathing, pain and hiding in a closet.
Killer
- Teleport a survivor we are carrying directly to a hook.
- Break a hole remotely
- Reduces the impact of a stun.
We can upload a maximum of two invitations.
Now let’s talk about Tryks’ tricks, which are selected randomly at the beginning of a game of Dead by Daylight during the anniversary event and are activated in order as players perform actions. They can have the following effects:
- All players lose an invitation.
- All players’ auras are temporarily revealed
- All players temporarily gain ‘Hurry’ status
- All injured survivors are healed and exposed
- The survivors leave no marks and the killer is undetectable
- Totems transform into Anniversary Totems until the next card reveal
- All unopened chests become Anniversary Chests
- No problem
New offering: Screaming Cake
The new offering grants 108% additional blood points in all categories to all players in a match, creates an extra chest, and reveals the aura of invitations within 16 meters.
This offering will only be available for the duration of the event.
Twisted Masquerade 2024 Event Rewards Dead By Daylight
The two main rewards of the Twisted Masquerade 2024 event in Dead By Daylight son the 8th anniversary skins for The Unknown and Bill Overbeck.
These can be obtained through Golden Beads, which are obtained by completing level-up quests in the event tome. Other milestone rewards that we can obtain in the Event Tome are 12 new skins (six for assassins and six for survivors), pendants, player cards and other cosmetics.
There could also be rewards for logging in each day of the event. This is the calendar:
- June 13th – 50,000 Blood Points
- 14 of June – 25,000 Blood Points
- 15 of June – 15 Rift Fragments
- 16 of June – 75,000 Blood Points
- 17 of June – 10 Rift Fragments
- 18 of June – 50,000 Blood Points
- 19 of June – 10 Rift Fragments
- 20 of June – 50,000 Blood Points
- 21 of June – 25,000 Blood Points
- 22 of June – 75,000 Blood Points
- 23 of June – 75,000 Blood Points
- 24 of June – 25,000 Blood Points
- 25 of June – 50,000 Blood Points
- June 26th – 50,000 Blood Points
- 27 of June – 50,000 Blood Points
- 28 of June – 25,000 Blood Points
- 29 of June – 15 Rift Fragments
- 30 of June – 75,000 Blood Points
- 1st of July – 10 Rift Fragments
- July 2nd – 50,000 Blood Points
- 3rd of July – 10 Rift Fragments
Also, the first time we log in to Dead by Daylight During the Twisted Masquerade 2024 anniversary event we will receive 100 Golden Beads.
