With the first beta of iOS 18 for developers in our hands, we can enjoy all the new features presented at WWDC24 and even discover all the functions and changes introduced that did not have a place in the keynote l ast Monday. Easily resize widgets in iOS 18
Undoubtedly, Apple wanted customization of the Control Center and Home screen to not be an issue in iOS 18. And while it is true that customization can be grotesque, each user has their own tastes and the fact that it can convert the same home screen into an infinite number of different options also makes iOS 18 a special version, closer to Android and further from the original essence of iOS.

One of the features that Apple ported from iPadOS to iOS 18 was the option to edit widgets directly from edit mode from the home screen without having to delete the widget and add a larger one. This same thing could already be done, as we said, in iPadOS and this allows the user to directly modify a widget in its different sizes.
To access this function, we just have to enter edit mode by pressing for a moment on a widget or application until we see to dance to the icons. And, in the same way as in the control center, they will appear some notches in the lower right corners of the widgets that if we click and expand we can change the size of the widgets. An effective and quick way to change our home screen in iOS 18.
